Australian Gaming Bargains - 31/05/07

PALGN News | A big sale, and a few other surprises.
With half-yearly sales on fast approach, it’s no surprise that a special mention goes to EB Game’s semi-annual clearance sale. Target are once again having a 15% off storewide sale over the next three days, the usual “excludes gaming consoles” conditions apply though so only go if you’re wanting to snap up some discounted software. For those that missed last week’s updates, Video Ezy have sent word that several stores will be selling ex-rental copies of God of War II for $49.95, an excellent deal. This week is also your chance to snap up a free Wii console - as long as you rent $1,750 or more worth of equipment from Dick Smith Electronics.

You should definately at least link to the EB games sale thread (or copy paste the deals) from there - honestly if I did not know what titles were at the EB sale I would have dismissed it as useless.

I didn't even know the thread exsisted. I'll edit it in.

EB Games -

God of War 2 for $50??

Bit annoyed at that - i only bought it a month ago!

But some good all round specials there. Won't buy too much cause got tons to play already.

wow god of war 2 for $50???? im going to grab a copy tonight along with the first one. maybe a few dance dance games and the collection will be complete for now.

the only other games i am considering getting is the metal gear collection as I have only completed the first one.

I wonder if EB will trade in my GoW2 Special Edition for more than $50. icon_think.gif

Just picked up Crackdown and Guild Wars (Nightfall) on sale at EB.

The EB sale is mad. Picked up GRAW 2 (for 360) brand new for 60 bucks, and Dead Rising preowned for 59 bucks. I was always gonna wait for GRAW til I finished R6 Vegas, which I did about a week or two ago, so yeah. Stoked.
Kinda annoyed too though, I've already got like every game worth owning. LOL spent ages poring over the games thinking "Come one... there must be SOMETHING cheap I don't have..."
No luck icon_sad.gif
