Free Running winners announced

PALGN News | Ten lucky people.
After sorting through the entries we're pleased to announce the ten lucky winners of our Free Running competition. We asked our entrants "If you could go free running anywhere in the world where would it be and why?"

Four lucky entrants have won a copy of the game on the PlayStation and 5 winners have scored themselves the PSP version. Our forum member TheAnswer was lucky enough to pick himself up a copy of the game on the PlayStation 2 just by posting on our forums.

So, without delay our lucky winners are:

PlayStation 2: Nicholas S, NSW:
"I'd choose a big city and a strange one at that, where they dont speak English. Tokyo I believe would be very challenging."

PlayStation 2: Karyn C, VIC:
"I'd run like the wind in Chicago.
Over ships, passenger or cargo.
Across African Plains, again and again,
and hopefully not into a Rhino."

PlayStation 2: Deb G, NSW:
"I would go free running in Borneo because I'd love the cool rainforest air and sounds of the jungle."

PlayStation 2: Jamie M, QLD:
"ANZAC Cove. If it's hard for me, I can only imagine what it must have beenlike for our diggers while being shot at."

PSP: Jayden G, QLD:
"Any beach that i want and too free of clothes, running the way i was born would be liberating and what I call FREE RUNNING."

PSP: Emma M, VIC:
"I would go free running in the Australian outback where it's harsh, challenging and the wide open spaces allow you to go wherever you want."

PSP: Tim P, QLD:
"Uluru, doing some Free Running there would be quite a challenge and make you stand out from the crowd."

PSP: Jim P, QLD:
"I would go free running at the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo. Jumping through the framework at night with the multi coloured lights, would be exhilarating."

PSP: Peter M, SA:
"Never one to exert myself I would choose The Netherlands because the land is extremely flat with some parts below sea level."

We'd like to thank Ubisoft for the prizes, if you didn't win (or did and fancy your chances again) then why not head over to our Driver '76 competition?

The game actually looked so bad I couldn't even be bothered entering.....but i've heard good things about it now...so I should've atleast entered.

In any case....those answers were horrible....only Jim P seems to know what free running is about...and subsequently posted an awesome answer... the other's seems to think it's some form or relaxed jogging or something? icon_confused.gif

Anyways congrats to the lot.

Not one Madagascan bombmaker joke. Disappointing!

Like what Ugh said, aside from that Jim P, not one person had any idea of what Free Running/Parkour is. Those people should never have won...

Yeah, none of those answers were creative/funny/good. Are any of those forumers?

Man my answer involved running narcotics through Amsterdam and doing mad tricks while feeling euphoric that would make Sebastion Foucan envious. I can't believe I lost to those cruddy entries icon_sad.gif

i am seriously dissappointed with those winning responses, well at least those that didnt actually appear to know what free-running is. The quick and easy answer is just one wiki page away ppl! Ah vell, least you won something, thats cool.
and Kaboth your response is slightly intriguing and made a direct reference to one of the greatest known free-runners. You should have got something, unless it worded as in your post. Though the concept is abstract enough to win something.

I did word it a little better in my entry thankfully icon_smile.gif But yeah I'd heard about parkour before hearing about this game, its certainly an interesting activity and dare I say interesting philosophy on life.
