Australian Gaming Bargains - 03/05/07

The Nintendo DS once again has several bargains this week with the likes of Final Fantasy III and touch-generation titles being main features. Notably, Spider-Man 3 bargains can be found across most consoles with the Game Boy Advance version apparently being an exclusive at Big W. Those who have been looking forward to God of War II will be wanting to head over to K-Mart or JB Hi-Fi for a saving of $20. There’s also a considerable PlayStation 3 console bargain available at K-Mart where $50 will be taken off the SRP if you purchase a PS3 game along side it.

$79 KMart God of War 2. I dont know waht the RRP is but that sounds good. But I went around town thismorning looking for somewere to buy it and not one shop in this pathectic excuse for a town had it. Guess I'll have to wait 3-4 weeks like I did with okami.

Just got ps2 spiderman 3......its worse then the spiderman 1 movie game so far - Vicarious should stick to DS (where it does GREAT things).....

Seriously everyone goto JB hi-fi for God of War II. Each store has around 40-60 special editions each all for $79! EB are crap and a ripoff! EB will only give you a special edition if you pre-ordered (most stores anyways).

That'd be a pretty good deal if you can swap the accessory pack for the silicone gloves or charger or something, which you probably could. Might have a look at it

OBJECTION!

I refer you to the bottom of This Thread - As Obs shows there is a 'normal' version in standard PS2 case, and also the 'special edition' that comes with the cardboard keepcase/fancy artwork. The very same bonus disc might be in the 'standard' version for all I know, but I know that I'd much rather have the fancy case over the standard one (whores will have their trinkets).

well, the spine of the normal edition doesn't have "2 Discs" on it like the SE, so either it's just a single disc case, and the bonus DVD in thrown with gay abandon into the box, or there's no bonus DVD.

I guess I was wrong. Sorry about that, fellas...I assumed that we'd be like the US, where every copy is a "two disc set". I sure hope that our standard edition contains the second disc...
