ED on TV

PALGN News | A production company in the States has secured TV and film rights, based on Eternal Darkness.
It was inevitable, really. Such a plot-heavy game with cinematics in abundance and the best voice acting in a western video game to date could not remain untouched by tinsel town for long. Silicon Knights's psychological thriller could prove to be rich source material for Hollywood.

Hypnotic, whose most famous project is 'The Bourne Identity' will assume total responsibility in terms of financing, producing and distributing any movie or made-for-TV series based on the game.

It is unknown whether Denis Dyack or other staff at SK will be involved in a creative consultant role, but this news will surely boost hopes for a follow-up to the under-performing, yet solid GameCube adventure.

Keep reading PALGN for any further developments on either an ED film or a possible sequel.

hmm interesting. I would rather they create a mini TV series based on Eternal Darkness. I dont think a movie would work so great as the timeline for Eternal Darkness is quite large.

Well, this is certainly interesting. Though I think a movie would be better than a TV series.
