Buena Vista Games renamed

PALGN News | Now going to be called Disney Interactive Studios.
Buena Vista Games appears to have been unhappy with their name so they've changed it to Disney Interactive Studios.

Disney Interactive Studios senior vice president Graham Hopper says "reflects our focus on creativity, the weight of Disney content in our portfolio, and the enormous value consumers see in the Disney brand".

Disney Interactive Studios also covers titles that aren't Disney brands, such as Every Extend Extra. In the interest of fluffing out this news piece we'll also point out that Disney Interactive Studios next title is Spectrobes, a title we're actually very interested in.

Well by having a name such as Disney Interactive Studios they will get more attention from people so it's a fairly good strategy.

Maybe the real reason is they want no association with the word Vista, considering how TERRIBLE Vista is (before somebody accuses me of being a Mac fanboy, I have never owned a Mac in my life & I have tested Vista and saw less issues with its beta's)

WTF. WTF does Vista as O.S. have to do with this thread and why do you feel the need to bash it in this thread.

As to the name change, nothing much really, I'm sure a lot of older users remember Buena Vista with our Disney Cartoons.
