Xevious released on Virtual Console

PALGN News | Time to celebrate?
It seems that Nintendo is slowing the releases for the Virtual Console as Xevious has been released on the Virtual Console for 500 points.

Xevious is a vertical-scrolling shooter that was originally available in the late '80s. Xevious has appeared on several compilation packs in recent years, so its inclusion on the Virtual Console isn't exactly a surprise - it is however a disappointment that we only recieved the one title this week.

If there is one thing I feel the Wii has let me down by personally, its the Virtual Console system. Who is going to fork out money for some old pile of sh*t like Xevious which can be emulated on my damn microwave FFS?

I apologise if my frustration is bubbling through, but Harden the F*ck Up Nintendo!

Start releasing some decent titles please.

Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 64, Super Castlevania IV, Gunstar Heroes, Toe Jam and Earl and Sonic The Hedgehog aren't decent?

Toe Jam and Earl isn't. I didn't see the appeal.

ToeJam and Earl is a classic but I agree, UK are getting some sweet TurboGraphix titles and US and Japan are getting alot more content than we are

Apparently OLFC want to re-classify all VC games as if they were new games, Super Mario World ha been rated and should be on its way soon

im still hesitant on paying $12 for a mega drive and SNES game. If i bought 4 games - that would be around $50!

My ideal pricing would be aroun $3 for a mega drive and SNES - and my upper limit would be about $6.

I think even at $8 - the price is getting steep if you want to buy lots of games.
