Nancy decides that, as Scooby Doo and his team are years away, she's the woman who's best suited to get to the bottom of these strange occurences. During your investigation of the town of Titusville you will, converse with the locals, gather a list of useful inventory items, and work through a set interesting and unusual of puzzles on your way to solve the mystery behind the Secret of the Old Clock.

Straight out of your childhood book collection, or your parent's, comes Nancy Drew: The Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon. The thirteenth installment in the point and click adventure series based on the long runnig book series takes Nancy out west. Nancy investigates the mysterious happenings on a train that took gold prospector, Jake Hurley, and his wife to their crashing to their death in Blue Moon Canyon. His wife's and the driver's bodies are found in the wreckage but Jake's is nopwhere to be seen. Thought to be haunted the train attracts both Nancy and her fellow children's mystery adventure characters, The Hardy Boys. As you would expect their is much pointing and clicking to be done in order to gather evidence, solve puzzles and to get to the bottom of the mystery behind Jake's dissapearance aboard the Last Train to Blue Mountain.

Another movie licensed game, Happy Feet follows the exploits of a young Emperor penguin named Mumble, who must find a mate by charming them with his own custom song of love. Unfortunately, while having the ability to tap dance like a professional, Mumble’s singing skills are less than desirable. The game allows players to explore Antarctica whilst avoiding notorious enemies such as leopard seals and making friends with other Artic critters. Gameplay includes dancing with other characters, belly sledding and swimming. You can also unlock other characters by collecting snowflakes and play corporative or competitive multiplayer.

As the name implies, Gitaroo-Man definitely lives and is back in action on the PSP. Gitaroo Man Lives! follows a young boy named U1 who's trying to woo the girl of his dreams, Pico. He’s not the most popular boy in town, and always manages to make a fool out of himself at the wrong time, but all that is about to change when he finds out he's the musically-inclined hero of some faraway planet, currently ravaged by the tyranny of the evil Lord Zoe. Desperate Housewives is the PC tie in of the hit television show. In the game you move into Wisteria Lane as a new resident and try to uncover all of your neighbour's dirty laundry. You'll be able to socialise with the girls from the television show and keep care of your family as you uncover your own dirty secret. Desperate Housewives is certainly one of the surprises of the year and definitely worth purchasing for your mum or sister for Christmas.
