Australian Sales Charts, Week Ending 08/01/06

PALGN News | Same charts, different week.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is still Australia's #1 game. Buzz: The Music Quiz has taken over #2 though, just refusing to move away from the pointy end of the chart. Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 dropped slightly because of this, but not very far to #3. Liberty City Stores goes back to what seems to be its native #4 position, after a brief stay on the podium. Eyetoy: Play 3 has surged up the charts yet again, now residing at #5.

Ricky Ponting Cricket 2005 is still hanging in there at #6 - Codemasters must be loving picking goold ole' Punter as the face of the game right about now. Need for Speed: Most Wanted - again - is at #7, but this time its the Xbox verison. Singstar 80s, the third of Sony's party games, is still strong at #8. Two re-entries mark the final two slots - Crash Tag Team Racing and Ratchet Gladiator.

The charts are updated weekly and are provided by GfK.

Too much damned Need for Speed.
Fire Emblem is doing poorly on the GC charts let alone the all formats, buy this game dammit icon_sad.gif Ratchet: Gladiator is a fairly good game as well and deserves to be doing better.
