12 Days of Christmas - Tenth Giveaway!

PALGN News | Only three chances left to enter the major prize pack. Ninth winner announced.
We've got a prize pack for Playstation 2 owners today, with three Playstation 2 games and a PC game to be won. We're nearing the end of the competition now, and we've made our last two draws very special indeed. There have been eight winners, and we're pleased to announce our ninth winner is:

Bao,T
NSW, Australia

Congratulations Bao - your prize pack will be on its way shortly!

So how can you win? Well, entry is simple. You don’t need to answer any surveys or questions. All you have to do is follow this link and input your email address. If this is the first time you've entered, then you’ll need to put in a few details so we can contact you, though rest assured that when you enter on subsequent days you won’t be prompted for your details again. Don't forget - you need to enter once for each prize pack, so if you've entered before, you'll need to enter again in order to be in the running for today's prize.

This year we thought we’d try something new and have added a referral system. When you refer other people to the competition, you'll gain extra entries for yourself. More information will be emailed to you when you enter for the first time. We've had a great response so far, with the number of entrants exceeding even our high expectations.

So what are we giving away? Well, today we've got a copy of The Matrix: Path of Neo, Metal Slug 4, The Hulk: Incredible Destruction and X3 Reunion up for grabs. PALGN would like to thank the companies who supported us for todays giveaway including QV Software. Atari and Vivendi.

Our winner for this prize pack will be unvieled on Wednesday.

X3: Reunion

Release Date: 14th November, 2005
RRP:$89.95 | F: PC-CD Rom
DEgosoft | P: QV software
PALGN REVIEW | BUY NOW

X3 Reunion, an ambitious title that offers an open-ended structure, it is the follow-up to critics' favourite X2. The game is upgraded from its predecessor and includes the ability to trade in a new economy and fight individual dog fights. It's been years since X2 appeared, so fans of the series will be pleased to hear the series has returned.

The Matrix: Path of Neo

Release Date: 21st November, 2005
RRP:$99.95 | F: Playstation 2
D:Shiny | P: Atari
PALGN PREVIEW | BUY NOW

After the questionable Enter the Matrix, the Wachowski brothers have returned with a somewhat better Matrix game where you actually get to take control of Neo himself. The story follows the events of all three Matrix titles and some of the core moments from the film are in the game. There's also movie footage and the ability to execute all the movies that Neo did in the movies. The game also allows the Wachowski brothers to finish the story of the series.

Metal Slug 4

Release Date: 14th November, 2005
RRP:$49.95 | F: Playstation 2
D: SNK | P: QV software

2D sidescrolling action is back with Metal Slug 4. In the year 20XX, a cyber-terrorist group has struck out at the world by unleashing a computer virus through the internet with a sole purpose of hijacking the militaries of the world’s nations. Join Marco, Fio, and new Metal Slug team members Trevor and Nadia to stop the distribution of the virus before it’s too late. Whilst Metal Slug 3 was bundled in with Metal Slug 4 in the United States, the games are actually being released seperately in Australia. Metal Slug 4 isn't exactly a lengthy title, but if you like arcade classics then you cannot really go wrong with Metal Slug 4.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Release Date: 14th September , 2005
RRP:$69.95 | F: Playstation 2
D: Radical Entertainment | P: Vivendi

The Hulk made a lackluster appearance when the movie came back in 2002, so it is fair to say that we were less than excited about the Hulk's next appearance. Fortunately this game has turned out to be surprisingly decent and allows the player to have far more freedom; without those boring stealth moments. No humans, just the Hulk.
