Pre E3 2005: Everyones stair-ing at Zelda

PALGN News | The stairs to E3 are revealed.

Pictures from the outside of the Convention Center in LA paint a very pretty picture, literally

The stairs this year are painted with the upcoming Zelda title. Nintendo are clearly trying to show everybody what the game of E3 2005 is going to be. Those going to the E3 will be greeted by a spectacular image of adult Link as they make their way up the staircase to the Convention Centre.

Good way to advertise hey?

i saw those pictures somewhere else recently, it didn't occur to me they were on stairs, i thought they were on one of them changing billboards (with the prisms that roll over to reveal different adverts... which accounted for the breaks where the stairs are)... thats pretty damn cool...

*imagines how much next years stair space advertising will cost*

I like the art there too. Only way it could've been done was to paint on a huge canvas (or blow up the picture most probably), cut it out and stick it on the stairs. Looks good only on that angle though, it'd look weird if you're actually ON the stairs.

Keep practicing, and you can come to the next street fighter night I do if you want. Did one last saturday - King of Fighters 97, Vampire Saviour and Street Fighter 3 were the staples.
