Australian Sales Charts - Week Ending 01/05/05

PALGN News | Two new games hit the charts.
Surprise surprise, Gran Turismo 4 is still #1, with Doom 3 right behind it. The PS2 version of Midnight Club 3 climbed two places to push The Sims 2: University down to #5, while San Andreas stood its ground to hold onto to #4.

As the last Star Wars movie approaches, it's no surprise to see Lego Star Wars hit the charts at #6. The official Episode III games should also start hitting the charts hard in the next few weeks.

The other new entrant this week was Empire Earth 2 - yes, that's right, a PC game in the charts that isn't The Sims! Staggering.

The Sims Count: 2

The charts are updated weekly and are provided by GfK.

All Consoles (full priced games)

PS2 (over $50)

GameCube (over $50)

Xbox (over $50)

GBA (over $30)

PC (over $20)

Isn't there a "Sims 2: Go to the bathroom" pack coming? icon_razz.gif

Seriously, good to see GT4 is still up there (duh), and I'm surprised that Doom 3 is at #2. Wow!
