PALGN Survey Competition

PALGN News | Less than two weeks left to make a difference to PALGN, win games!
So you thought a few thousand dollars worth of games in the We’re All Write competition wasn’t enough? Well here’s another 5 games that you have the chance of winning.

Over 300 people have taken our survey and we've got some really brilliant ideas on how to improve the site, remember, if you want anything changed on the site then this is the place to do it.

All you have to do is complete our quick demographic survey. It should only take 5-10 minutes. As you progress through the survey you’ll be shown the games that you’ll be in the draw to win once you’ve completed all the questions.

Start Survey

Please answer truthfully as far as possible. Your answers will in no way affect your chance of winning any of the games. Entry is open to everyone, excluding PALGN staff members. Competition closes 31st May and prizes will be drawn the following day. Winners will be contacted via email and posted here on PALGN.

i really hope you don't get a babes section... that would cheapen the site IMO... as much as i enjoy a beautiful woman, there's a time and a place...

my first thought on movie reviews was "yes" but when i thought about it, i don't really want them here either... i don't mean this in a bad way, but you should focus on improving the scope of your game reviews before bringing in other entertainment forms... i know this must be extremely hard when you are self funded as to what games you review (afterall, no one wants to buy a bad game... even if it's to warn other people not to buy it...)

It's a safe bet a babes section won't be happening anytime soon. Dunno where the hell that came from...

Hmm the prizes are pretty crappy icon_razz.gif

Honestly I wouldn't pay more than $10 for any of those games :/

well we have an honest man, mine too on thoughts on the survey.
For the most part of it, it was great to show many different options on things.
For the lesser part of it, they had some questions not worth answering and options that nobody would go for. I'm sure a few others would agree with me here.

To clarify a few things;

The survey itself will be used in 2 ways:
1) So we can get start getting some revenue on PALGN by giving potential advertisers the demographic results (not personal user information, but the statistical results) so we can fill our advertising spaces
2) So we can improve the site and plan the future of PALGN.

There is no question on the survey that won't be used in some way. They've all been specifically choosen for a reason. On the options side of things clearly we don't know what people will answer (otherwise there wouldn't be any point in having the survey), and a wide range doesn't hurt anyone.

I was originally going to have the survey without prizes, but since Luke had several left over from the other comp we decided to reward people for helping us with the survey. We can't reveal the prizes before-hand otherwise it would influence who takes the survey.

In a sense the point isn't so much the prizes, it's to improve PALGN in the long run.

It takes an awful lot of work to get these competitions running and it also costs a fair bit in postage alone.

That's an all-new low, someone complains about ticking some boxes and winning free games...

i assumed it was a dig at IGN... wherever it came from, my opinion is noted...

tbh i would have done the survey without prizes if need be... i like surveys...

I would have done the survey without prizes too as I like doing them. My entry has been submitted, thanks for the competition guys. icon_smile.gif
