We're All Write Competition - Prize Pack One - May 2nd, 2005

PALGN News | The first batch of prizes our winner can win are..
It is three days until we start accepting submissions for the We're All Write competition. We are pleased to announce the first few games we will be giving away to our winners.

Who will win them? How many copies have we got? We're going to wait to the end to unveil all of that information... Today we have a classics pack to giveaway, courtesy of Microsoft!

The concept of the competition is simple. We're asking our readers to write a featurette on gaming, which must be between 500-600 words. We will choose the best entries and we have a tonne of prizes to give away. The first batch of games we have to give away are...

Counterstrike:

Overview:
Counter-Strike, the world's most popular online action game and first-person shooter for the PC, makes its console debut exclusively on Xbox and Xbox Live. Counter-Strike features single-player missions taking place over a gritty realistic counterterrorist world, and allows gamers to challenge other players in team-based multiplayer games on Xbox Live and System Link. Counter-Strike on Xbox will be the most graphically advanced version of the series to date, showcasing the technical prowess of Xbox, including immersive, intense multiplayer action on Xbox Live. In addition, players will benefit by strategizing and communicating with their teammates via the Xbox Live Communicator headset.

Amped:

Overview:
Amped is the first snowboarding game focused on freestyle riding. Rip the ultimate line on wide-open real mountains packed with jumps and rails. Hit the cliffs, jib the rainbow tree rail or take the hidden path through the trees for a different ride every time. Pull insane tricks in front of roaming camera crews to get your face on video and magazine covers. Get enough international exposure to become one of the world's snowboarding media superstars. And do it all to the music of over 150 core indie tracks.

Dead or Alive 3:

Dead or Alive 3 is a 3D fighting game transplanted from the arcade to the home, specifically for Xbox, and gives gamers the ability to enjoy a richer, more intense, action-packed experience than was previously possible on a video game system.

It is a brilliant fighting game that appeals to all ages, Aside from Halo it was one of the flagship titles for the Xbox when it was launched, this is a fighting game you just have to try this game.

The total value of this prize pack is $149.95 and is just the beginning of what we are planning on giving away. Check back tomorrow for another in-depth look at the next prize pack!

Man, I would like to try out CounterStrike on Xbox. I was one in the million who actually enjoyed singleplayer CS in Condition Zero

No.
Why not ? An interview still requires skilled questions to get the most out of the interviewee. Plus you also got to get a really good person in the industry to interview .. which requires some more skill ...

Because we want an essay type article, of which an interview isn't.
