The Nintendo DS broke records to become Australia’s fastest selling console at launch. However, seeing a DS on the street is still a rare sight. As such a few of our community members have been discussing a DS multiplayer event where we can all experience the joy of playing games without wires. The DS’s slogan is “Touching is Good” and we all know how much more fun touching can be when there’s more than one person involved. Ahem.
At this stage the plan is to meet at 1:00pm at the net café called iStarZone which is located under the George Street cinemas in Sydney. Just head towards the entrance to the cinemas and there are some steps on the right leading down to the café. Venue details can be found by clicking here. Just look for the people holding a DS when you get there.
If too many people turn up we’ll have to move to a larger venue – possibly Darling Harbor or Hyde Park. Please check back here for more details before the event.
It will just be an informal get-together. If the event is a success there may be more events organised not only Sydney, but in other cities as well.
We hope to see some of you there!
