Proving that you're never too young to take to the skies, Balloon Kid, gamers take on the role of young Alice, who is on a perilous mission to rescue her brother, who has been swept away by clouds. You will have to navigate a variety of dangers, collect balloons and run the risk of being locked in combat with enemies on the ground in order to save your sibling.

It is remarkable how childish these comments are.

(noting the specific irony in terms the critisizm being given for Balloon Kid)

^ How can you view the comments as childish. Criticism is warranted. I thought themashedavenger's 1st comment was hilarious.

This is a crap update & not worthy of reporting. Ninty are making a push for serious online marketing and this just makes people cringe. And Balloon Kid was a mediocre game even in it's day, to release this is beyond a joke given the HUGE backlog of top quality titles Nintendo have at their disposal.

That said, people like myself who have access to the US 3DS eShop got Mutant Mudds this week.

It's an awesome little NES styled 2D platformer by Renegade Kid (Dementium on DS). Deceptively hard and quite fun to play.

Sadly though I think is the actual pricing for such a game. At $4.50 they really need to look at what is happening on iOS and Android. At 0.99c you could keep someone happy for a few hours.

Firstly, I really like Balloon Kid.

Secondly, just because the news isn't of interest to you, doesn't mean it isn't worth reporting. Heck, if nothing else, the article lets you know there isn't anything of interest to you so you don't have to waste your time checking the user-unfriendly Nintendo 3DS eShop.
