Though they offer entirely different experiences, F1 2011 and Supremacy MMA are our two sports picks for this week. F1 2011 is just as it sounds - classic Formula 1 racing, with an increased focused on online modes, including a co-op championship campaign and split screen local play, while standard competitive online play supports up to sixteen players, with an additional eight AI controlled opponents to make up the full twenty four driver roster. If driving ain't your thing, then maybe punching the hell out of one another is. If so, Supremacy MMA has you covered with brutal underground tournament fighting. No rules, but plenty of blood. Both of these games will be available this Thursday on Xbox 360 and PlayStation, while F1 2011 will also release on PC.
No week is complete without your World War 2 game, and this week we have...nothing. Instead we have Men of War: Vietnam, the latest release of the popular and in-depth strategy series Men of War. Demanding a degree of high level play and unit control unseen in most strategy games, the Men of War series flexes your strategy muscle harder than most games, and Vietnam looks to continue that trend. Available on PC this Thursday, make sure to check out our Men of War: Vietnam review when it hits.
For our anime fans we have Bleach: Soul Resurrection, a PlayStation 3 exclusive musou-style game that allows fans to hack and slash away as their favourite Bleach characters, while for our younger audience (or their parents) we have Barbie Jet Set and Style for Nintendo Wii and DS, a game focused on flying Barbie's jet salon around the world and interacting with a ton of fashion and styling activities. Lastly, Mystery Case Files The Malgrave Incident for the Nintendo Wii continues the traditional point-and-click adventuring of the Mystery Case Files series. All three will, like the above titles, be available on Thursday.
Boy, that's a lot of games for Thursday. But what about Tuesday? Nobody ever asks about Tuesday. Well, this week you should, because Tuesday is home to what is unquestionably one of the biggest games of 2011. Check it out below.

And then there were three. Gears of War 3 is the final chapter in one of this generation's most iconic franchises, continuing the saga of Marcus Fenix and co as they battle against not only the Locust hoards, but a new threat all together. A lengthy, gripping campaign will suffice single player gamers, and for the first time in the series the entire campaign will feature four player co-op. When you're done playing offline you can jump on-line for classic Gears of War style multiplayer, which includes more options than ever before, including a new 'Beast' mode, an alternative take on Hoard where players take control of invading Locast, killing COG members to earn points and upgrade to stronger Locast classes. As with previous Gears of War games, Gears of War 3 will be exclusive to the Xbox 360. Pick up your copy and finish the trilogy this Tuesday, and make sure to check out PALGN's review while you're at it.
