Melbourne to host the Shadowloo Showdown tournament

PALGN News | Ready? Fight!
Fighting game fans take note - if you've ever considered yourself to be tournament-ready, the upcoming Shadowloo Showdown event could be right up your alley.

A two-day fighting game event taking place on the 25th and 26th of June at the CQ Hotel in the Melbourne CBD, Shadowloo Showdown will feature Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (360), Marvel vs Capcom 3 (360), Tekken 6 (PS3), Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (Arcade) and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II as part of the game lineup. Winners will receive cash prizes as well as trophies and medals to commemorate their achievements.

Online registration will be open until the 22nd of June, and spectators are welcome to attend the event as well. Those who can't make it in person can watch the livestream.

Thanks for the feature Bev and Palgn, really appreciate it. Looking forward to seeing some PALGN'ers at the event such as Benza, Adz, Baraa and more.

Hope we also see some new faces make their debut. Remember it's not all about winning, it's about having fun with other like minded gamers.

For those who have never been part of the fighting game community, it's honesty one of the best communities out there. =]

I'll there, it's easily going to be the best fighting tournament of the year, loads of International players, Daigo, Team Hori, ME. I cannot wait.
