After fourteen years of rocky development and teases, to the point of becoming a well known joke within the gaming community, Duke Nukem Forever is going to be released (pending the end of the Earth). Finished up at the hands of Gearbox Software, Duke Nukem Forever allows players to once again put on the shades of Duke himself, and rid the world of yet another alien invasion. Assault troopers, octabrains, shrink rays and babes; they're all here, and they're out to grab you by the balls this Friday.

In inFAMOUS 2 players are reunited with Cole MacGrath. Confronted by the Beast, Cole realises he lacks the strength to topple this foe, and chooses to retreat to the city of New Marais to become stronger. Familiar sandbox action elements that fans loved from the first game return, along with a slew of new powers for Cole, new enemies, grandeur presentation, and even a mission builder that allows users to construct their own challenges and share them with friends. inFAMOUS 2 will be out exclusively on the PlayStation 3 this Thursday.

Better red than dead. Sequel to fan favourite Red Faction: Guerrilla, Armageddon takes a holiday from the surface of Mars for the caverns underneath. Colonists taking shelter from the uninhabitable surface soon find they're not alone, forced to fight for survival against an awakened Martian threat. Armageddon features the series staple of deformable structures, allowing players to bring down buildings and structures, and even rebuild them with the right equipment. Did we mention it features a farting unicorn? Pick up Red Faction: Armageddon this Thursday.
