Splinter Cell novel breaks into the Top 10 bestseller list

PALGN News | Sam sneaks back to the top - in paperback form.
Ubisoft has announced that it’s popular franchise, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, has broken into the New York Times' Top 10 bestseller list, which was published in North America early December. The book is also ranked 8th among the Wall Street Journal bestsellers in the "mass market paperbacks" category.

Based on the hit videogame franchise, the novel follows the adventures of Sam Fisher an operative for "Third Echelon", a secret branch of the American National Security Agent. The first novel in a planned series, the brand name of the Splinter Cell is fast becoming a household name, both in and outside of the videogame world.

No doubt with such popularity, we can expect major movie studios to seriously assess the stealth franchise, especially with the highly anticipated third game hitting stores in March. Stay tunned to PALGN for more information as it comes to hand.
