PALGN Weekly Releases - 22/03/11

PALGN Feature | Aliens in the Big Apple.
Once again, it’s a rather busy week, with gamers on all platforms being treated to several big new releases. PC users are in for a treat with some eye-popping visuals on their horizon, and console users will also be happy with a once-time PC exclusive headed their way, but more on that in just a moment.

Final Fantasy fans should look out for fighting title Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy, which pits several iconic characters from the series against one another. The latest entry in the spin-off franchise introduces nine new fighters and several new combat mechanics. Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy is released as a standard game and collector’s edition on Thursday. Another well known eastern series also appears this week, with Yakuza 4 returning players to the Japanese criminal underground. Picking up one year after the events of Yakuza 3, you play as four different characters as they attempt to unravel the truth. Yakuza 4 can also be found on Thursday, only on PlayStation 3.

Now, slip on your futuristic suit and prepare to do battle with off-world invaders in one of largest cities on Earth.

Cabelas Dangerous Hunts was out today in JB. It was fun on PS3 (imported it last year) with the Move, but I don't want to connect a new game specific camera and sensor just to play it with a gun on 360.

Wait, Dissidia's this week? I thought it was coming out next week. Cool I guess. Oh, and I think Nintendo's releasing something next week too.
