Rumour: VGA zombie game is Resident Evil

PALGN Rumour | Eat the brains of your friends.

The myserious zombie game we reported on may be a mystery no longer, with the good eye of GamerZines reporting a link between silhouetted zombie images and a Resident Evil t-shirt.

As you can see from the pictures below, the first teaser image for this zombie related game features two silhouetted zombies. Now take a look at the imagery on the Resident Evil t-shirt. Both silhouettes identically match those of zombies that can be found on t-shirt image.

If this is indeed a new Resident Evil game, what type of game could it be? Readers may remember that earlier this month we reported a rumour that developer Slant Six Games was working on a multiplayer Resident Evil-style game.

I reckon it will be Resident Evil PSP... It's been in development for a while now, but no screenshots or footage has been revealed. All that's been said so far is that, it will be unlike any other Resident Evil to date.

Anyway, if it is RE, I'm pretty excited it's returning to the zombies that made it great back in the day. As much as I like the later games too, I felt the story was far better with the rise and fall of Umbrella!

A new RE game? That would be nice, as I'm still quite a big RE fan. But

I'm not a fan of that. If that's what it turns out to be, I can't say I'll care (I only like single player and possibly also 2-player, depends on the game). It would be nice for multiplayer fans, I suppose.

I rarely play MP in games but MP RE with actual zombies would get me online.
