Shadowloo Showdown 2010 in Melbourne

PALGN News | Get ready to battle in December.
Fighting game community ‘Shadowloo’ is hosting their very first event called ‘Shadowloo Showdown 2010’. It will take place on 11th – 12th at the Rydges Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.

Super Street Fighter IV will be the main event of Shadowloo Showdown 2010, featuring singles and 3 v 3 match ups. Other games at the event will be Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5 and the recently released BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.

Fighting game legend and one of the best Super Street Fighter IV players, Mago, will be attending the event in his first visit to Australia. GamerBee, who made a big name for himself at the recent epic EVO 2010 fighting game tournament, will also attend Shadowloo Showdown 2010.

Prize pools will be announced soon and registration for this event will open up later this week. We will keep you updated. In the meantime, head over to the official website for more details.

Thanks for the featuring guys, we really appreciate it.
Hopefully we get to see many of you come down.

Also we got word today that Tokido (Best Akuma in the world) is mostly going to be joining this event as well.
Should be good to see where we stand against these legends.

I hope you guys are seating him near a projector during his games - so he can pose in front of it again. Most hilarious ending to a SSFIV game I've ever seen =)

@Benza: Yeah, we will be streaming. Would be silly not too. We need to get some attention on our scene. Hope those who can't make it tune in!.

@Grim-one: The one in this venue might be too high, I think he may need to stand on a seat. XD
