Halo to be on the silver screen?
According to Ain't It Cool News it seems Halo, the movie may be in the works with acclaimed director Ridley Scott showing interest in this proposed project.
The source adds that Scott had actually been approached about Halo in the past and wasn't interested, but with the huge sales of Halo 2 anything could happen. Ridley has been hesitant to take on the project in the past because he hasn't seen "a world for a story," but it seems a potential script is being created as we speak…
PALGN is skeptical about a game to movie conversion of Halo. Just thinking about past game to movie adaptations is enough to make one shudder, but with the experience of Ridley Scott and his fame of such movies such as Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator, maybe it could work… just maybe.
