More details emerge about planned Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC

PALGN News | Warning: this news item may contain spoilers.
By way of warning, this news piece may contain mild spoilers for those who have yet to play or finish Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. We recommend that you do not read this news until you have completed the adventure.

Mercurysteam and Konami's epic adventure has been received by the gaming public with warm and welcoming arms, but many are divided over the game's controversial ending and are eager to know more about the confirmed downloadable content which should be making its way to gamers sometime in the future.

Producer David Cox has recently spilled some proverbial beans on his official twitter account, and in answering a fan's question about the date and content of the game's planned downloadable content, he had this to say:

'[There is] no firm date but Gabriel will return to the Castle and Laura will also return.'

So while we may not know when the latest instalment in the saga of Gabriel Belmont will see the light of day, we now have some idea of the nature of the next chapter of the intriguing tale.

Hope there won't be DLC otherwise I'll wait for the GotY release.

I played the demo and wasn't really taken with this game to be honest. I went ahead and read the ending for the game on wikipedia because I wanted to see if Dracula would be in it as all the things I had read previously did not mention him at all.

I'll probably be shot (or whipped) for this comment but I don't think this is a true Castlevania game. I'm glad that this installment has made the main character look more masculine and not as effeminate as in the recent games, though.

However I'd still take Super Castlevania over this any day icon_smile.gif
