Plants vs. Zombies 2 inbound?

PALGN Rumour | We hope so.
While many of us are still entranced by the various iterations of the casual gaming sensation that is Plants vs. Zombies, it looks like PopCap might have a second battle between flora and dead flesh up its sleeve.

According to the PopCap image that has been posted all over the Internet (including our media panel below), all will be revealed on 2 August 2010. So do as the zombified hand says and "save the date".

Not sure if you played it on PC or not but it works much better as a mobile game. Can't wait to play the next one in the series!

I'm surprised that such a huge game hasn't made xbox live yet ... maybe this time. Love it on my iphone though.

I loved the first one too. Only ever played the iPod/iPhone version but it was super addictive.

Would love a HD version on PSN though and like kartanym above, surprised it hasn't already come to PSN/XBL.

Hopefully number 2 comes to all systems at the same time.

having played both pc and ipad version. The touch version is superior simply because it eliminates the intermediate control of the mouse/cursor. Great game played on either formats though. Very excited about this
