Australian Sales Charts - Week Ending 10/10/04

PALGN News | Bathurst fever hits the country.
This week sees two newcomers fly to the top of the charts. The PS2 version of V8 Supercars 2 has shot straight to the top of the charts, no doubt fueled by the lead up Bathurst last weekend. Coming in at second place is the highly awaited Xbox action-RPG Fable. Expect a review of both of these games on PALGN soon.

It seems that the Tony Hawk series is losing some steam, as Tony Hawk's Underground 2 was only able to grab the sixth spot on debut - admittedly, it was facing stiff competition this week.

Oh, and The Sims and Pokemon are as strong as ever.

Updated weekly, with all charts provided by GfK.

All Consoles (full priced games)

PS2 (over $50)

GameCube (over $50)

Xbox (over $50)

GBA (over $30)

No surprise for the #1 spot.
WTF happened to Burnout 3? It didn't last very long in the top 10.
