God of War III references mysterious website

PALGN News | 'Spartans Stand Tall'.
In line with the franchise's history of teasing and tantalising, Sony Santas Monica's recent opus God of War III contains a reference to a mysterious 'Spartans Stand Tall' website which may or may not augur a new entry in the venerable series.

The player is directed to the page upon obtaining the coveted Platinum Trophy, which is no small feat, given the challenge on offer in God of War III. The site itself is relatively spartan at present, featuring a windy, rainswept ocean with appropriately stormy sound effects and an enigmatic gauge in the shape of a shield, the latter of which appears to be filling with blood over time.

It is not presently known what the site refers to, with many speculating that it will eventually reveal downloadable content for God of War III or perhaps a new entry in the franchise for the PSP. PALGN will have more on the 'Spartan Stands Tall' mystery when and if further information is at hand.

In the interim, why not read our full review of Kratos' latest and possibly greatest adventure?

interesting, well I'm interested in anything Santa Monica does, so I'm going to make sure to keep updated.

I hope it's something for the PS3 though.

I stared at it a bit. I'm guessing its suggesting something else is forthcoming. If you played the game and completed it.
