Skate 3 in mid-May

PALGN News | Tony Hawk dies a little inside.
EA has announced that the third game in the Skate franchise will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on 11 May in the US, with the game to be available internationally on 14 May.

The series will have more of a team focus this time around in both the online and offline components. This will include cooperative and competitive modes. The game will also feature a level editor to allow players to make their own creations to skate all over, and a new skate school triaining mode which will presumably focus on the new modes of play.

The game will also move out of San Vanelona for the first time, with Port Carverton becoming the new location-of-choice. EA has also detailed Skate 3's full roster of skaters, which includes:

  • Mark Appleyard
  • Ray Barbee
  • Joey Brezinski
  • Dennis Busenitz
  • John Cardiel
  • Mike Carroll
  • Chris Cole
  • Jason Dill
  • Dan Drehobl
  • Pat Duffy
  • Rob Dyrdek
  • Benny Fairfax
  • Ryan Gallant
  • Chris Haslam
  • Jerry Hsu
  • Josh Kalis
  • Terry Kennedy
  • Lizard King
  • Eric Koston
  • P.J. Ladd
  • Jason Lee (as Coach Frank)
  • Colin McKay
  • Darren Navarrette
  • Lucas Puig
  • John Rattray
  • Andrew Reynolds
  • Ryan Smith
  • Braydon Szafranski
  • Danny Way

There is always Shaun White, hopefully they try to copy the old school tony hawk games. Would be an easy way for them to make a buttload of cash. Just make it PSN and Arcade, instant profit.

There was Sean Palmers Pro Snowbaording which was like the old THPS's but there was never even one sequel.

I would still like your idea.It would be a LOAD better than the current Shaun White as that was one boring game.
