Hideo Kojima twitters about the next entries in the Metal Gear Solid franchise

PALGN News | Legendary auteur lets loose cryptic hints about Rising and Peace Walker.
Hideo Kojima has spoken out about Kojima Productions' forthcoming Metal Gear Solid by way of his official twitter account.

According to the awkward english translation, Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 'will create new users [and] be developed by the new generation, a new MGS...'

However, the PSP-exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is 'made by Hideo Kojima, a new but classical MGS. [It] is a new type of game design and experimental for future endeavours. So it is hard to say it will finish with one game...'

No release details have been revealed for the Raiden-starring Rising, but Naked Snake-centric Peace Walker is due for release in North American and Europe in late May. Stay tuned to PALGN for more on both of these titles as information becomes available in the lead up to their respective releases.

I though they were just about as Cut scene heavy as the Metal Gear Games.
That said, i'd love to see what Kojima Productions could do with a ZOE game on the current generation of consoles. I'd also like to see them try make something original aswell.

Peace Walker originally was going to be MGS5 but they dropped the 5 because of fan outrage I guess. They even had logos with 5 on it but changed it at last minute for E3 last year.

I guess making it on PSP will allow it to be a smaller team and they can focus on the storytelling more than the technical aspects of creating a game. 80% of the art team can just be put onto Rising.
