To kick off the mad month of March, there are plenty of games to get your controllers, mice, styluses, analogue sticks and waggle-motes ready for. Starting off, Microsoft has the Game of the Year Edition of Gears of War 2 ready to go, packed with all the downloadable add-ons all on the one disc. PC gamers can wipe off their keyboards for Ubisoft’s capolavoro Assassin’s Creed 2. PALGN’s eccezionale review of the game can be found here. Rounding things out, RTS enthusiasts can once again plot world domination in Supreme Commander 2, and SEGA brings out its stable of celebrity characters in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. The folks from the much-loved B Company are back to save the world – with a touch of humour – in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This time around, there’s a more diverse range of battlefields to explore while shooting the life out of anything and everything that moves, from icy mountains to claustrophobic villages. Whether it be a column of armoured tanks or a troop of cannon-fodder, there’s nothing the soldiers of B Company can’t snipe, shoot, grenade or blow up. An addition to the campaign, a sizable multiplayer mode awaits, with plenty of vehicles, tools and guns to boot. While the Xbox 360 and PC editions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are invading this Thursday, PlayStation 3 owners will have to hold the line until next week.

Also, totally unrelated, you can grab a pre-order from cdwow for Alpha Protocol on PC for $30 at the moment, I have no idea if they honour this price when the game comes out but I paid out just in case.

i've got BC2 pre-ordered on steam... trying to preload but the servers are getting very hammered... haha
