Australian Sales Charts, week ending 31/1/2010

PALGN News | There's a new sheriff in town.

After months of the same games controlling the top spots of the Australian sales charts, we are lost for words at seeing at new number one entry. So much so that instead of the usual commentary, we've decided to compose a limerick that summarises this week's momentous occasion. Well, that and the fact that we're too busy playing the new number one game to write anything better. Now excuse us, we have some more aliens to...uh-hum...conquer.

There once was a console named Wii,
That controlled the sales charts with glee,
But as quick as a flash
Gamers whipped out their cash
And the new king is Mass Effect 2 on 360.

I prefer the anguished cries of self proclaimed 'real gamers' when they're preferred choices fails to sell.

This is actually worse than usual for them; only two HD Twin games in the top ten. lol
