Darksiders 2, Saints Row 3, de Blob 2 for 2011

PALGN News | THQ to capitalise on its franchises.

THQ has announced that it will be making sequels to this year’s successful post-apocalyptic hack n' slash/puzzle title, Darksiders, as well as its popular tonge-in-cheek gangsta franchise, Saint’s Row, in the 2012 fiscal year (which starts from March 2011).

Joystiq reports that THQ plans to accelerate its growth by releasing sequels to these popular titles, as well as the upcoming Warhammer 40k Space Marine.

EDIT: THQ has also announced a sequel to de Blob. The original game was made in Australia.

I have to wait more than a year for SR3.... Come on. Saints Row 2 was the most fun I have had on my PS3 with CO-OP a big factor of that... GTA4 doesn't even compare. (I still miss GTA 2 multiplayer mayhem)

This is what is wrong with making these sequels. They will be rushed to the market garbage.

HELL YEAH!!! SR2 still gets played when all my other were barely touched after finishing them, even Uncharted 2.

I still play SR2 on occasion.I have played SR2 a few times this week.

umm, ok so releasing SR3 3 years plus after Saints Row 2 was released is rushing it to market...
we must live in different universes where you live by goat years..
