Borderlands DLC mech-ing it up

PALGN News | Will feature new enemies, raised level cap reconfirmed.
Gearbox Software has revealed some further details of its third piece of DLC for Borderlands, which was first unveiled last week. According to a report from Joystiq, the name of the new content will be The Secret Armory of General Knoxx and it is reconfirmed that the level 50 cap wil be raised. By how much the cap will be raised hasn't been revealed as yet. The expansion also promises to have "never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions".

One of the two screenshots that accompanies the announcement features a rather intimidating looking mech, suggesting that the player will at least fight against them, if not control one of the metal beasts at some stage. The other picture features a player-controlling a six-wheeled vehicle in a desolate Mad Max-type environment.

No release dates, specific content details or pricing information has been given as yet.

Looks good. Hopefully it isn't filled with the worst slow down I've seen in years like the (PS3) Zombie DLC...

:O I had no issues with the PS3 version of the Zombie DLC, were you playing it co-op online or local. If you were playing co-op online then it may have been your net connection. We have spent many an hours both local and online with no issues.

Single player, offline. The area up the hill when the bats fly at you. Slows down to freeze frame.
Many other have said the same.

Awesome.I deleted the game data before the last DLC was released and had no interest in dl-ing it but I will re-install the data to play this DLC.

Didn't know there was a spelling mistake because it was edited before I read the article.
