DLC coming for Bioshock 2

In what is a sign of the times, downloadable content has already been confirmed for Bioshock 2, even though it is still some weeks before the release of the highly-anticipated sequel itself.

In an interview with Australian Gamer, 2K Marin’s Senior Systems Designer, Kent Hudson said the company was "...working on pretty aggressive plans for DLC and that's actually something that is already under-way. That is something that is mostly being run out of the Marin studio because... the Australian studio is already ramping up on the next big thing.”

There were no other details on what the DLC may include, but hopefully it’s something unique like the PlayStation 3’s challenge rooms from the first game rather than just some extra plasmids or a difficulty level which should have been included on the disk itself.

challenge rooms are win. i wish there were more included in the first game. :/

Yes! I hope to god it's more Challenge Rooms. Especially if they're more focused on puzzles as the first 2 rooms were rather than combat like the 3rd room. They were really fun with some clever ways of using plasmids, so if they bring out more, I'll definitely buy it.

Yup, there is no DLC for Bioshock on 360 (as far as I know). The Challenge Rooms are exclusive to PSN.
