This Week's Releases - 14/12/09

PALGN Feature | Tekken again.
Wrapping up the final week of releases for 2009, Tekken 6 arrives on PlayStation Portable. Rather than copying the game's console counterparts, the developers have created a completely new title. The PSP iteration still follows the arcade and console storyline and features a roster of over 40 fighting characters. With some flashy visuals and a robust control scheme, fans of the legendary series should be on the lookout for Tekken 6 on PlayStation Portable from Thursday.

Next, MX vs ATV Reflex! lands on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP and Nintendo DS just in time for Christmas. Players can fight for position with new independent rider and vehicle controls, and claw their way back from the edge of disaster with the new wreck avoidance system. MX vs ATV Reflex! also boasts real-time environmental deformation, so you'll never ride over the same ground more than once. You can jump into the dual action of MX vs ATV Reflex! on Thursday (some copies have already started appearing on shelves).

The Weekly Release Round-up will be taking a short break until the start of 2010, when a new year of awesome gaming begins (God of War 3, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy XIII … need we say more?). From everyone at PALGN, have a safe and happy Christmas, and merry gaming!

Thursday 17th December:

Crosswords Collection (Nintendo DS)
MX vs ATV Reflex! (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS)
Tekken 6 (PlayStation Portable)

Man the last few months have been very disappointing compared to the same period in the last few years, previously I'd been buying 4-8 games per week but this year I think I've only bought 1 or 2 games a month :(

Hopefully it's just been some development delays and the good games come out Jan or Feb 2010.
