Title: Happy Holidays: Christmas
System: WiiWare
Price: 500 Wii Points
We really don’t know who would bother downloading this, let alone pay 500 points for it. It’s an application that lets you create and send personalised Christmas e-cards to people in your Wii’s friend list. For the price of about 300 KB, you could do the exact same thing on one of those free flash e-card websites.
Title: Foto Face: The Face Stealer Strikes
System: DSiWare
Price: 800 DSi Points
A quirky little platformer from EA Games that utilises the DSi’s camera and microphone so that players can customise the characters in the game. The plot sees you trying to track down the Face Stealer, a baddie who has stolen your identity and is causing mischief throughout the land. Of course the locals aren’t too thrilled with these antics, so it’s up to you to set things right and restore your now tarnished name. Experienced players probably won’t find too much difficulty in progressing through the game’s 15 levels, but it should be a real winner for children.
Title: Master of Illusion Express: Matchmaker / A Little Bit of... Magic Made Fun
System: DSiWare
Price: 200 DSi Points
Another bite-sized version of the full retail game Master of Illusion. This time players can impress their friends by getting them answer questions on their DSi such as what their favourite places and food are. The game then tricks them into thinking you had the exact same answers. There’s also a bonus trick called Photo Diagnosis where you take a photo of your friend’s palm and face, and then the game will correctly guess their age.
Title: Just Sing! Christmas Songs

With the likes of SingStar, Lips and Sing It taking the industry by storm, it’s time for the handheld market to cash-in on the karaoke fad. Yep, that’s right, Just Sing! Christmas Songs will have you singing Jingle Bells and Silent Night into the DSi microphone, allowing the game to measure your pitch and timing, and provide you with feedback on your performance. We can only imagine the looks you’d receive while playing this on the train to work each morning.
