You may have noticed a new banner that has gone up on the main page of the PALGN, and to answer those curious few among you, we'd like to explain ourselves. PALGN has partnered with GCAP, the Game Connect: Asia Pacific conference and exhibition for 2009. The conference is hosted by the GDAA, the Game Developer's Association with Australia and is held from Sunday 6 December to Tuesday 8 December. It's a networking event designed to provide publishers and developers from across the Asia Pacific the chance to talk about the state of the industry and find out what the others are up to.
We'll be providing coverage of the event, which has a series of presentations and panels ranging from:- Technical Innovation and Programming
- Art Innovation and Best Practice
- Advances in Game Design
- Writing and Scripting,
- Project Management,
- Serious Games in Defence, Health, Education and Simulation,
- Business Development and Marketing
So if you find yourself unable to go to the conference, never fear as we'll be publishing articles to give you guys a peek into the inner workings of this event. Stay tuned over the weekend and early next week for updates on our coverage.
