It was supposed to be coming out this thursday (Ratchet and Clank ACIT) the 5th, though, GAME website and EB memo says the CE is delayed until the 12th November.

Can anyone in retail clarify this? Hugely impacts my budgeting.

A few of these Provisional games shouldn't be listed on the Australian Release List.
For instance, Diablo III definitely isn't coming out 1/12/09. Nor is Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty coming out 31/12/09. I know you get these dates from stores, but seriously; they always make up dates till the official release dates are confirmed.

Provisional = just a placeholder so retailers can see a game in their database and know it is coming, should a customer ask about it. Then they can say, not confirmed at all but say end of year / next year (if they didn't know, I know some game store employees that wouldn't know what xxxx game is).

Is that what its for? If so whats tentative, almost confirmed?
