New tracks for Guitar Hero 5

The October list of Guitar Hero 5 downloadable tracks has now been released. This week, your plastic tapping and strumming pleasure will come from US rockers, Queens of the Stone Age. In the following week you can enjoy tracks from Billy Squier, and in the week after that it's time to rock out to the psychedelic musings of Wolfmother with tracks from from their upcoming album, Cosmic Egg. The last two weeks of the month bring about a more eclectic range of tunes from the likes of Marilyn Manson, Peter Frampton and The J. Geils Band.

The track packs will be available on Xbox 360 for 440 Microsoft Points, for $9.95 on the PlayStation Store, and for 550 points om the Nintendo Wii. Alternatively, you can download individual tunes for 160 Microsoft Points, $3.45 real dollars on the PlayStation 3, or for 200 Wii Points each.
