A muse for Guitar Hero 5

PALGN News | Plug it in, baby.
Because it's a day ending in a “y”, we have another Guitar Hero 5 announcement for you. This time it relates to British band Muse, and the inclusion of its falsetto-singing front-man, Matt Bellamy, as a playable character on the song “Plug in Baby”. It's a pretty good likeness as well judging by the screenshots below.

Bellamy joins an all-star cast of playable characters on the music-game, which now includes Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana and Shirley Manson.

Muse - Greatest band in the world.

A better selection of people could have been made, although I do heavily approve of Johnny Cash.

i don't, for the simple fact he's dead and can't possibly have approved or condoned the action.

at least people who are still alive, you know they had some input into the use of their likeness - in the case of Johnny Cash - who knows who signed on the line...

and who's getting money generated from sales.

(this is nothing to do with his music, just his likeness.)

Meh - if he's dead he doesn't care, and all due respect to the man, but he made enough money during his life.

The also made a movie after his death, so whatever. A videogame like Guitar Hero is perhaps the best way to celebrate the man - no facts are distorted and you're enjoying his music while bringing it to new fans. No harm imo.

i know no harm was intended, at least not from Activision/Neversoft's side of the table, it's just one of those weird things that irk me for no real reason.

i hope you can download there new songs from THE RESISTANCE later on.

Yeah things like that used to irk me too. I guess you grow to expect people to make money off other people. Hell, Johnny Cash made money off of live concerts in prisons. Many considered that exploitation.

Aww, wish it was Dominic. Wonder if we'll get a few more bassist's and drummers this time around rather than the token "one" in the previous band games.
