So you like videogames huh? How much? Have you ever crossed that line and become, how do we put this, 'obsessed' with games, or maybe just a particular game?

Ever played so much that you've had to stop yourself continuing to 'play' in real-life? Maybe you were about to pocket that bobby pin on the ground, or drive somewhat recklessly down the street?

Have you ever chucked a sickie so you could stay home and play, or ever forgone some real-life social occasion, just so you could sink a few more hours into your latest fixation?

Please, you're with friends - exorcise your demons here in the forum and 'fess up - have you ever become 'obsessed' with a game?

Two occasions where I've skipped work to play...
GTA4 release day --> got my copy from JB when the store opened with the intention to work for the rest of the day... hit about 11am and I was sure my stomach was feeling a bit off so I headed home. Spent the rest of the day in bed with Niko... if you know what I mean...

More recently... Pokemon Platinum... first pokemon game I've played and I've just GOT TO CATCH 'EM ALL! And it was similar... stomach felt a bit off, went home and played for about 7 hours straight with nothing but water and a bag of lollies...

There are times I find I can't stop... I tell myself it is time to stop but then I will say to myself "After the next level up/trainer/evolution etc"... Sometimes the will power is there but sometimes not...
