This Week's Releases - 15/06/09

PALGN Feature | Knights and archaeologists take to the court.
This week, Indiana Jones makes his way to the Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 and PSP in Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. Set in 1939, the game follows the famous archaeologist as he races across the globe in search of the Staff of Moses. From San Francisco's Chinatown to the wilds of the Panama, players must navigate through challenging environments, outshoot their enemies and control a range of transports – from a biplane to a wild elephant – to outwit Jones' latest archenemy, Magnus Voller. Depending on the platform, the Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings can be controlled with the Nintendo DS stylus or Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings ventures onto store shelves this Thursday.

Valhalla Knights 2 lands this week on PlayStation Portable. The sequel to Valhalla Knights features real-time 6-on-6 battles, requiring thought and strategy as opposed to blind button-mashing. The title incorporates increased customisation, allowing players to change appearance, race and skill. There are up to 245 different monsters to be encountered, all of which can be done with a friend in two-player co-op. Valhalla Knights 2 can also be found in store from Thursday.

Next up us Virtua Tennis 2009 on Nintendo Wii. Virtua Tennis 2009 can be purchased as a standalone title or as part of the Champions Edition Bundle, which includes the game and two replica BabolaT racquet accessories. Also on the Wii, EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis can be found bundled with MotionPlus controller accessory. Last but not least on the Wii is Let's Tap, a collection of finger-tapping games, set for release on Thursday.

I'd love these articles to have a screenshot and summary of each game, or at least a link to each profile if possible.

Slow week??? Lucky I have finished Infamous and moved on to Prototype. If all goes wrong I guess I could turn to Sim 3... (L4D and TF2 first though)

Looks like the new Indiana Jones has just dropped off my wishlist. It has received really poor reviews. Looking forward to finally getting my hands on a Boom Blox game. May as well start with the sequel which I hear is quite an impressive improvement over the first.

Anyone know about Virtua Tennis 2009 for Wii? Ive heard it's bugged out to the bonnet. Would love to hear some opinions on it.

Just get 'Indiana Jones' on PSP. You won't have to worry about bad motion controls that way.

Ill get the PSP or PS2 version for whichever's better. Do they include Fate of Atlantis or was that a Wii exclusive?

Valhalla Knights 2 could be worth getting if I get desperate. Has anyone imported it yet?
