Next up, after several delays, is Battle Fantasia on Xbox 360 and PS3. With a cast of manga-inspired characters, the arcade fighter takes more of a role-playing approach than that of a traditional fighting game. For example, instead of the usual health bar, fighters have hit-points that drain away as they take damage. Battle Fantasia supports a number of modes, including story, practice, survival, time attack, versus and online multiplayer, and is finally set for released on Thursday. Our review of Battle Fantasia can be read here.
Finally this week, EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis is ready to be served on Nintendo Wii. Players can create their own character before working through each Grand Slam competition – the Australian Open, the US Open, the French Open and Wimbledon. From next week, EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis can be purchased together with the Wii MotionPlus attachment.
