Australian sales charts, week ending 10/05/09

PALGN News | Wii Fit top of the charts? Surely not.
It has been a very, very, very dull week in the charts. The entire top five is exactly the same as it was last week - and you know what that means! Old Nintendo games! Yay! Wii Fit is at the top - what a surprise - followed closely by Wii Play. Brain Training and More Brain Training are at three and four, while Mario Kart Wii is still in fifth place. We desperately long for some new blood to spice things up, but at this rate, it will never come.

Things get a bit more interesting in the bottom half of the charts. The PS3 adaption of X-Men Origins: Wolverine managed to gain a place, moving into sixth position. DS screen tapper Crosswords made a surprise return to the charts at seven, while the Xbox 360 version of Wolverine managed to move up in the order, closing the week in eighth. It's not a bad little scrapper either, as pointed out in Kim's review. Singstar: Queen continued its descent down the charts, just hanging onto ninth place. As if we hadn't had enough Nintendo games this week, Sight Training is back into the charts at ten.

The charts are updated weekly and are provided by those wonderful people at GfK.
