Broken Steel fixed

PALGN News | So many possible puns, so little room.
Following our report that the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Fallout 3's downloadable expansion, Broken Steel, were not working properly, 1UP is now reporting that the problem has been repaired. The site says the problem "stemmed from a Games for Windows Live DRM install error, which prevented PC players from even installing the DLC, let alone playing it."

Xbox 360 owners were affected because of an unrelated problem caused by the Xbox Live servers not being completely synced with Broken Steel's additional achievements, resulting in these achievements not showing up in gamer profiles and not contributing to the overall gamerscore.

The expansion is again available for download and will hopefully cause no further problems for all the wasteland-dwelling fans out there.

Really - DRM hurting the consumer who buys the product again? When will they stop punishing those who pay while the pirates continue with minimal effect....

Downloading it from GFW now, I hope it is fixed, I am planning on spending a few hours with F3 this weekend

Not only do we need to put up with buggy retail releases, but also buggy DLC now? Comeon, this is ridiculous. If it was any other industry, the consumer would get their money back (releasing something that does not work as advertised).

I haven't seen DRM actually work. You can still download the game about a week after release. Can somebody tell me about the point DRM.
