The PALGN Podcast, Episode 58

PALGN Feature | Difficult games.
Hard games feature in the podcasting spotlight this week, with the unrelenting difficulty of titles such as Left 4 Dead, Ikaruga, Devil May Cry 3 and Mega Man up for discussion. Anthony, Adam, Denny and James ponder their most difficult gaming experiences, whether it be solving a bewildering puzzle or beating a boss with a seemingly infinite amount of lives. With a running time of approximately 35 minutes, there's plenty of time to reminisce on the hours and days spent in front of the computer screen.

This week's outro remix is a little different to the usual OverClocked ReMix (www.ocremix.org) tune. Episode 58's outro is an attempted rendition of ‘Through the Fire and Flames’ by Adam and Denny. Fortunately, there isn't a full bitrate version, so there's no way to download it.

Remember, if you don't want to miss any of our weekly podcasts, make sure to subscribe via your favourite podcasting service, whether it be Apple iTunes, Creative ZenCast, or a GPL alternative such as Juice.

Podcast theme and effects composed and mixed by Daniel Golding. Episode 58 is hosted and produced by Anthony Capone. Editing and mixing by Anthony Capone and Michael Gale.

Great podcast. I also know the pain and suffering that comes with DMC3. Admittedly I never even touched Dante Must Die, due to fear, and the risk of high blood pressure.

Those 2 brothers whos swords you get, I forget their names, are brutal. Kill one, and the other picks up his sword, its like fighting 3 bosses in one. That boss gave me nightmares for weeks. Vergil was also hard, but so damn epic, you can't get angry at him.

^Agni and Rudra. If you kill them each in a small timeframe you avoid the merger. I managed to clock those two in about one minute or so. But holy God the first time taking those two on was righteously painful.

And yeah Vergil was epic fun. Great boss pattern too and worked really well with perfect parries from Royal Guard style.

Hmm..when I get home I think I'm loading DMC3 again.

Oh and the outro to the podcast turned out hilarious. icon_lol.gif
