New racer from Bizarre announced

PALGN News | It's a Blur.
Developer of the Project Gotham Racing series, Bizarre Creations, has announced the existence of a brand new racing game dubbed Blur.

The game was revealed in the latest issue of French gaming rag, Joypad, but, unfortunately, there are few other details.

We do know that, like the PGR series, Blur will have a variety of exotic locations, including London, LA and San Francisco. Of course, there will be plenty of fast cars for players to test drive, which will apparently be prettier than ever before. At least, until they get damaged.

Which, we imagine, will occur often, because the cars in Blur come loaded to the brim with weapons, as well as shields to try and stop them.

That's about all we know so far. More details on Blur when they surface.

I think I've played a game like this before...

I like racing games, but all it really got me thinking was:
'All I want is to see what a modern Interstate '76 would look like these days.'
Activision made the original and Activision own Bizarre now, so hopefully I'm not dreaming vegetables.

Oh and if they want to make it look realistic and all that, great. Just give me cel-shaded/gouraud-shaded options.

Yes, a modern Twisted Metal game sounds brilliant! That game got so much playtime on my PS1.
