If that wasn't enough, he also mentioned that Mass Effect II - which has never been officially and completely announced - will see a release before the end of the company's financial year in April 2010. More interestingly, he suggested that the game would be released on 'multiple platforms', opening up the possibility that the game could grace the PS3.
Riccitiello bought up the existence of Dead Space Wii while discussing their future plans for Wii software.
"We are bringing core intellectual properties and franchise in categories we think have legs on the Wii platform. A good example of this is Dead Space," he detailed. "We are bringing a Wii title to market this year, and it is absolutely going to be the quality and fear factor that you've got on the PS3/Xbox 360 and PC this past year."
The sequel to Bad Company will once again be handled by DICE, who will make use of the same game engine from the original.
Also mentioned in the conference call was the fact that EA will be closing down 12 offices - and retrenching 11% of its workforce - thanks to a USD $641 million loss for the quarter. Ouch.
