Australian sales charts, week ending 25/01/09

PALGN News | Skate 2 hits the charts.
Same top three again this week, albeit with a slightly juggled order - Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Play with a Wiimote. Yawn. Boring now. However, things get a slightly bit more interesting at number four, with the appearance of the music fun that is the Guitar Hero World Tour super bundle - on the Nintendo Wii, of course. Even more exciting is an entirely new game at number five, in the form of Skate 2 on the Xbox 360.

We return to the chart veterans at six, with the endlessly popular DS mind melter Brain Training, dropping one spot from last week. Things get a little bit repetitive at seven, with the Xbox 360 Guitar Hero World Tour super bundle showing its face once more. Eight sees new entry Skate 2 - this time on the PlayStation 3- make its debut (again), with last week's big new entry, Lord of the Rings: Conquest on the Xbox 360, falling hard to ninth spot. Closing out the charts for us this week is another popular staple from Nintendo - More Brain Training, on the DS of course.

The charts are updated weekly and are provided by those wonderful people at GfK.
