Gears of War LAN party announced
PALGN News | South Australians, get ready.
Alienware has sent word through that they are partnering with Valhalla LAN Parties to bring a competitive Gears of War 2 gaming event to South Australia. Between January 16 and 18, a massive LAN party will be held at the St Clair Recreation Centre in Adelaide. Attendees will be given the opportunity put their gaming skills on the line to win a part of the $70,000 worth of prizes and giveaways for 2009.
Gears of War 2 won't be the only centre of attention at the event, with the likes of Halo, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, StarCraft and Guitar Hero set to appear. There will also be door prizes up for grabs, and a cosplay competition.
